XRF/EDXRF technologies

Microptik has developed new technologies based on X-ray fluorescence for all kind of applications with the best equipment for the best results. The principle is that X-ray source powerful enought can eject inner electorns from the atoms of the sample. Higher energy electrons will then fill this vacancy in cascade, releasing energy and givin a characteristic x-ray fluorescence spectrum. Intensity of the source will be critical and it can determine which elements can be excited, thus, the more power, the lower detection limits. Anode selection determine the optimal source excitation which allows us to use this technology for specific applications.
