Microptik develops all needed accessories for specific electron microscopy applications. Included in this section one can find sample preparation systems as sputter coaters for both noble metals (Au, Pt, Pd) or/and carbon or Si coating for advanced SEM-EDS inspection; conductive and acrylic sample tinctures as colloidal graphite in isopropanol diluent ; Stubs and inserts; Adhesive pads; sample holders, both manual and mororized, with rotation and tilting; and tailored software for applications such as 3D Roughness Reconstruction.

SEM Colloidal graphite Conductive Colloidal Graphite Paint, 500ml
Designed for SEM sample preparation. The graphite flakes, with an average size of 1µm, are bonded by a cellulose resin with isopropanol as diluent. Good bonding properties on most materials. Ideal to mount samples on sample stubs or to make a conductive path to the sample surface. Let fully dry before using in the SEM. Maximum service temperature: 200° C.

Is designed to reduce sample charging. This sample holder eliminates extra sample preparation of non conductive samples. Imaging samples like paper, polymers, organic materials, ceramics, glass and coatings becomes fast and trouble free.

SEM sample holder microtoll Micro Tool and Tilt-Rotation Sample Holder
Imaging long axial shaped samples without sample modification is now possible. Imaging objects such as drill bits,
milling tools and injection needles is fast and easy using the Micro Tool and Tilt-Rotation Sample Holder. Imaging
coatings and cutting angles is possible by rotating and tilting the region of interest without unloading the sample
from the holder.

SEM insert X-view Insert X-view
The X-view inserts are used in combination with the Metallurgical Sample Holder or Metallurgical
Cross section imaging of coatings and multilayer samples becomes fast and easy with this metallurgical
insert. Its smart split clamping mechanism eliminates the need for screws and tools to clamp the sample.

Professional Sputter Coater  includes pump.
The SC815 is a compact rotary-pumped coating system suitable for SEM sputtering with noble metals- eg gold (Au), gold/palladium (Au/Pd) and platinum (Pt) – and for carbon coating SEM specimens for EDS and WDS.
